Mr.Brandt made aware, of unknown opportunities by cooperating with the Technical University, to mediate educational contents in an effective and attractive manner to their aimed audience, the “children”.

The price winners explained to the audience the contents and functions of their creation. The team of Miriam Farschon, Marc Lornew and Alexander Loos showed the new surface, in addition to programming the new play. The character, BikeMike needed to equip a bicycle within safe traffic standards and maneuver it afterwards through the city within regulatory rules.(picture 1 & 2)
The team of Alexander Lehmann, Michael Scheuerl and Chitra Atreya created the character “zebra Sam” who guides the children through the sites and functions as the identification character On the pedestrian crossing, for instance, it is guiding the children to use the correct signs and symbols for a save roadway crossing. The 3rd place winner Alexander Dowerk, created the virtual city of Kaiserslautern, showing the city municipal building und the football stadium very well visible.
Clicking on different mobile sheets will guide to the plays. The platform is expandable at any time. Other future developed plays may be integrated..And these are already on the way (picture on the right). The new semester is already engaged with further project developments. Professor Wagner showed a few screenshots at the end of the organization. The language components will be arranged in cooperation with the Südwest radio station. A professional language speaker of ARD will take over the part of voicing the character. The decisive idea was the perception, that a familiar, professional voice has greater impact on the children, for the characters effectiveness. Other groups of the Institute of Advanced School Education of Speyer supported the development of the pedagogical contents. The Children Accident Commission provided the traffic law consultation. The other 22 pieces of work from the students, who did not win a price, were also considered within the project. The primary responsible parties of the project assume that the new internet site will be available to public in spring 2008.
